It’s funny that I came across your page because I just saw Ellen DeGeneres the other day on Netflix, her new stand up called relatable. So funny, you should check that out.
I have always admire her especially the courage when she came out and no one would hire her because she is gay. Did you know that in the beginning when she hosted the Ellen show, they producer said that no one will listen to a day time lesbian talk show? They even made her dressed up with pearls and skirt so people will not think that she is gay?
She has been fighting for everyone’s right, I am happy for her. Look at her now she is so influential and can get to wear or talk about what ever she wants on tv.

I loved Ellen from the first moment I saw her post I must admit I don’t follow her shows as much as other’s, but the little I’ve watched were absolutely lovely. These kinds of websites are so needed in our broken world. So much of the internet, television, and social media is about what’s in it for me. What can you do for me? Our world can be so selfish and it’s getting worse.
So much of our problem is not getting to know our fellow brothers and sisters. It’s easier to be uncaring when we don’t take the time to really connect with others.
Ellen’s quote about “treating people the way you want to be treated” is so true. It is the core of our humanity. Without these traditional values, we are doomed to barbarism.
Challenges and obstacles are very valuable cornerstones of our human growth as people. Life is not easy at times. We go through tough times that tear our hearts apart. We need quotes like these from Ellen Degeneres, but we also need them from people who are not celebrities. People who are part of our everyday lives. We need to hear these words of encouragement and inspiration from our co-workers, our friends, and especially our family.
