I just wanted to say thanks for what are some great inspirational quotes. I think no matter who we are or at what stage of life we can all at times question our purpose. It’s amazing that just reading a simple quote can often help add a little perspective.
The Mark Twain quote “Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did” Is one that particularly resonates with me. I have a poem that I often go back to when in times of thought. It is called Desiderata and is by a little-known poet called Max Ehrmann. Proving yet again how powerful words can be. Thank you so much for your post
Kevin
I think that it’s normal to question our purpose in life and in some way it’s essential. It shows we maybe need to travel a different path.
Desiderata is also one of my favorite poems and I also refer to it a lot. Please view the post and video at:

Hello,
I must say that this article is very helpful and informative. Today we live in such a time where we can get lost very quickly and that leads to frustration and depression.
While I was reading these quotes I felt somehow relaxed and motivated and what I like is that all of these quotes are the truth, we are worrying about many things in life forgetting about ourselves. Thank you for sharing, I will definitely bookmark this to remind myself from time to time.
Daniel
So glad tha tthe quotes, video and content were of help to you.
I agree that the times we are living in, seem scary and we feel out of control which leads to anxiety and depression. I hope that the site can help and uplift the readers. That is my goal.
John
Hi, John. I have to say I found this website to be uplifting, heart-warming and inspiring for me to want to reach out and hug people! We need more of these websites and I am very thankful I have the opportunity to review your site. It not only has some great categories to review and find ideas to share with the picture quotes, video quotes and brief stories under Acts of Kindness (a personal fave of mine) – but you manage to bring about very thought-provoking and sensitive articles like the first one about “feeling lost in life.”
So many people feel that way and it affects all ages. What made you decide to to create this website? was their a particular niche you were going for or just people in general?
What has been your own personal experience with feeling lost in life? How has random acts of kindness fuel your fire to inspire others with these heart-felt anecdotes, blogs and quotes?
Well done – I look forward to seeing more of your stuff – much success to you!
Haiku
Sincere thanks for your kind comments. They are deeply appreciated and uplifting. It makes all teh hard work worthwile.
I started this website, because I found that the world was getting more scary and people seemed to be scared and divided if you listen to the news. I just wanted to remind people that there are good and kind people still around.
I love inspirational quotes and stories, because they remind me not to give up on myself and life. I find that doing even a small act ofkindness makes me feel better about myself.
John
Thanks for these quotes. The one that really resonates for me right now is “You got to go down a lot of wrong roads to find the right one-Bob Parsons.”
I feel like I’ve tried too many careers on and none of them have worked out for one reason or another. It makes me feel like a failure. This quote puts a different perspective on it for me, though. Maybe I’ve had to go down several wrong roads to find the right one. I just hope the right one is the one I’m on now!
Joey
I hope that you are now on the right road that is taking you to where you are meant to be. Certain quotes resonate with each of us, in periods in our lives, just as the Bob Parson quote – ” You got to go down a lot of wrong roads to find the right one ” – does with you.
I am reminded of one of my favorite Steve Jobs quotes:
” Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. “
John
Hello and thank you for your post, it actually fits to my current feelings about my life.
I also agree with Mark Twain the I would regret in 20 years for I have not done, this is so truth. But I also agree there are no happy moments without sadness, this is truth as well.
So I consider my current situation as something I need to go through. I hope my situation gets better very soon, still thank you for sharing this to us, it is very inspirational.
Bye and all the best to you!
